Maybe it's the satisfying feeling of collecting gems, rescuing other dragons, and thwarting the plans of the mischievous villains. Perhaps it's the sense of adventure and exploration that comes with guiding the lovable purple dragon through beautifully designed worlds. There's something about Spyro that captivates me, although I can't quite put my finger on it. However, even back then, I fell in love with the game and its charming protagonist. I have a personal connection to the franchise, as I played the original version of Spyro when it was released, despite its pixelated and less visually appealing graphics.
